James Sherman is Managing Director for Protect in New York. Protect is Israel's premier security services company. Sherman is one of a handful of Americans who has achieved the certification of Instructor, Israeli Krav Maga Association after successfully completing 5 training trips to Israel and recording more than 500 hours of full contact Israeli close quarters combat training. Prior to working with Protect, Mr. Sherman was a director for a New England investment banking firm and in recent years he founded Manhattan Trainers, an advanced personal training service in Manhattan. Mr. Sherman's clients have included elite athletes as well as world class entertainers, models and executives, Mr. Sherman is well known for the results he obtains for his clients as well as his intense dedication to their well being. Recently his lectures on self defense and krav maga demonstrations have been drawing audiences well into the hundreds.

Mr. Sherman's business background combined with his experience in fitness and combat training make him the ideal representative for Protect in New York. He stands ready to meet all your security, wellness and fitness needs. Mr. Sherman is an accomplished athlete playing linebacker for the Boston University football team, winner of the New York Sevens Rugby Championship, his workout regimen includes skating 10 miles daily in Manhattan, daily athletic-resistance-bodybuilding training and snowboarding 50 days a year. Mr. Sherman has studied extensively with some of the world's most respected and knowledgeable experts in krav maga and sports-bodybuilding-athletic-wellness training, including: Haim Gidon, Itay Gil, Nir Maman, David Kahn, Mohamed Makkawy, Mike Boyle, Rich Barretta, and Sue Hitzmann.

(Kickboxing) has been practicing martial arts for over 25 years. In 1980, he started to practice Kyokushin Karate in Poland. He began fighting tournaments on a local and national stage in 1983. A few years later Paul came to the United States and studied under Grand Master Shigeru Oyama. In 1992 and 1993 he held the title of World Oyama champion. He represented the heavyweight Oyama team in the USA, Canada and Europe. He has also trained many fighters in Karate and Thai Boxing. Paul is also disciplined in Karate, Judo and Thai boxing.

Doug Seibert (a.k.a. Dougie Fit) is the balance of both mind and body. Beyond his financial background on the NY Stock Exchange Floor and his writing contributions for Discovery Health, he's also an accomplished model/actor and Certified Personal Trainer. Doug is represented worldwide by agencies such as Ford Models, and has graced the pages of Men's Fitness, Men's Health, Men's Journal, Outside Magazine, Details Magazine, Vanity Fair, Playboy, Maxim, Ski Magazine, Maximum Fitness, Cargo Magazine, Men’s Wear Magazine, Smart Money, The New York Times, and the New York Post, among others. He's been the face of multiple health and fitness books, as well as a wide range of athletic, fashion and media giants including, but certainly not limited to Nike, Reebok, Sony, Rollerblade, Ritz Carlton, Verizon, Microsoft, Nikon, Target, Sergio Tacchini and Esprit. He's very well known for being the face of Perfect Fitness (Perfect Push Up, Perfect Sit Up, Perfect Pull Up, Etc.) and has been nick named "The Perfect Push Up Guy" and/or "Mr. Perfect" by industry colleagues. Doug has created and hosted workout videos for the Discovery Health Channel, Perfect Fitness, Total Body Shaper, Bioflex and Abroller Evolution products.

Doug draws from his exceptionally active lifestyle to create a rounded training methodology. He has a passion for snowboarding and has competed in the US Open Snowboarding Championships, but his favorite past time almost took his life. A terrible snowboarding accident resulting in a broken back, internal bleeding, collapsed lung and a concussion nearly killed him and ended his plans for collegiate sports (football and track and field). He knows what it's like to have to overcome huge obstacles, none the less, he doesn't tolerate mediocre results from his clients. Working with Doug means building a fully customized routine to fit your unique needs and goals. He specializes in overall health and wellness, and emphasizes that "Being fit is a lifestyle". He educates his clients and instills healthy lifestyle values and knowledge so once they get in shape, they stay in shape!

His nutritional and supplementation knowledge is vast and he knows the tricks of the trade to get you into fitness model shape.

In addition to fitness training, I have also been training Krav Maga (hand to hand combat and self defense) for the past few years. I currently assist my training mentor teaching group classes in self defense for women and defense against bullies and violent attackers. Besides learning how to defend yourself, Krav Maga really is a fantastic workout!
